By using either iGive.com or BuyForCharity.com when you shop online, at no additional cost you can make your money work three times with each purchase:

1. Buy an item online by accessing your retailer of choice through the iGive.com or BuyForCharity.com website.
    
   
2. iGive.com or BuyForCharity.com donates a percentage of your purchase to EARTHWORKS.
    
   
3. iGive/BuyForCharity tracks the amount donated as a result of your purchases, allowing you to deduct that amount from your taxes.

To make your money work for you and EARTHWORKS, you don't have to shop at iGive or BuyForCharity -- in fact, you can't.  All you have to do is

• sign up for free at each of their websites,
• tell them you want your purchases to benefit EARTHWORKS
• when you shop online, start at the iGive.com or BuyForCharity.com shopping mall and click through to the online merchant of your choice.

NOTE:  If you sign up for both services, there's a better chance the online retailer of your choice will be covered.  iGive.com includes over 550 retailers, BuyForCharity.com includes just under 200 retailers.

• Sign up by entering your email address in the upper right hand corner of the page -- under "Join Here to support EARTHWORKS."
• Start shopping, this time and every time you want to buy online, at www.igive.com/html/mall.cfm.

NOTES: 

• iGive.com also offers the option to install software on your computer that will automatically detect when you visit a participating online retailer.  If you choose this option, you don't have to begin shopping on the iGive.com website.
• there is a considerable lag between your date of purchase online and your purchase registering with iGive.com -- don't panic.  Also, this doesn't affect when you receive your purchase.
